  • Night Trip is online! You will be able to view the opera from your computer from anywhere with an internet connection.

  • This performance is completely live in real-time, with our cast members singing and being conducted from multiple cities around the US!

  • No, this production will only be available to watch during the live, one-night-only performance at 7:30 pm EST on Saturday, December 11.

  • You will need a computer and an internet connection. If you have one available, we also recommend connecting your device to an ethernet cable for the best viewing experience. Wired headphones are also recommended, as they’ll let you hear the full range of our singers’ voices without any distortion.

    If you do not have an Ethernet cable available, try and limit the use of devices on your Wifi network. To optimize the viewing experience, I hope you will enjoy this performance on a computer monitor or on your tv.

    To optimize the audio experience, wired headphones are suggested because they will allow you to hear the full range of our world-class singers. If you're watching on a mobile device, avoid using mobile data as it is generally less stable than WiFi.

  • Please select the ticket option that best reflects the number of people who will be viewing with you. Tickets are priced as: $15 for one viewer, $30 for two viewers, $45 for three viewers, and $60 for four or more viewers. Ticket sales help us keep our artist opportunities paid. We appreciate your transparency.

  • Our singers are tuning in from across the country. Here’s a brief list of where our singers are: New York, Michigan, Ohio, and Washington, DC!

  • Originally commissioned by Washington National Opera for their American Opera Initiative, Night Trip takes place in 1958 and follows Conchetta, a young Black girl, as she joins her WWII veteran uncles on the road for a trip to visit family. Conchetta is soon faced with a new reality as her dreams collide with harsh truths that will change the way she sees her world.
